Join us for a memorable residential cooking holiday where you'll have the opportunity to learn the art of making delicious Kerala Pal appam and Idiyappam, along with the craft of creating bean-to-bar chocolate. This program is designed for hobbyists, home cooks, and chocolate enthusiasts, utilizing equipment readily available in your own kitchen. Veg/Vegan

Day 1

• Check-in and enjoy a light lunch. • Settle in and take some leisure time. • Learn how to make the Appam Dough. • Discover the secrets of roasting cacao beans and creating cacao nibbles. • Enjoy a delicious dinner followed by a grind-and-story session with cacao beans.

Day 2

• Start the day with a satisfying breakfast. • Work on the Appam Dough and learn to temper and Mould chocolate. • Prepare mouth-watering Appams and accompanying curries. • Indulge in a delightful lunch! • Explore local attractions such as the pineapple market and a dark chocolate making factory. • Experience a serene river ride along the Muvattupuzha River. • Learn to make Idiyappam and more flavourful curries. • Relish a scrumptious dinner!

Day 3

• Engage in a dark chocolate tasting and wrapping session. • Enjoy a final breakfast and bid farewell with chocolates in hand.

Price:

• Single participant (double room occupancy): Rs. 32,400/- • One cooking participant + one guest (sharing a double/twin bedded room): Rs. 37,900/- • Two cooking participants (sharing a double/twin bedded room): Rs. 43,900/- (*Prices valid until May 31st, 2024) Included in the Price: • Comfortable accommodation in our eco-friendly garden bungalows. • All meals, including cooking sessions. • Bottled drinking water. • Guided tours and activities mentioned in the itinerary. Excluded from the Price: • Taxi fares to and from The Pimenta (additional transport can be arranged upon request). • Tips or new taxes that may be levied. Please Note: • Our garden bungalows are designed with eco-friendly values, featuring ceiling fans and air conditioners for a cool and comfortable stay. • Our courses are suitable for all levels of knowledge and expertise. We welcome a maximum of eight participants, with no minimum requirement.
