Terms and Conditions
The following terms and conditions shall apply to all bookings made with “The Pimenta Homestay” and will constitute the contract between the host and the guest, safeguarding the interests of the host. By making a booking with “The Pimenta Homestay,” you acknowledge that , you have read the website and details of the program you book, and risks associated with it . You are aware that you have the authority to accept and agree to these booking conditions on behalf of yourself and your party. The contract will be established once we accept any payment from you towards the booking or issue our Confirmation/Invoice, whichever occurs earlier.
- All bookings are subject to the following terms and conditions. By booking with "The Pimenta Homestay," you agree to the terms and conditions outlined herein.
- When booking our Experience Packages or Culinary Retreats, a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total booking value is required at the time of booking. This deposit will only be refundable if the booking is not accepted by us for any reason or if, due to unforeseen circumstances, we are unable to provide the course for which you have booked. If availability is confirmed, payment details will be communicated to you, and immediate payment is required. A proper receipt will be issued upon receipt of payment. The balance of the price is payable upon arrival.
- For bookings involving a stay or stay with food, a deposit equivalent to one night's accommodation must be paid in advance. If you fail to show up on the booked day, the deposit amount will be forfeited. If, for any reason, we are unable to provide accommodation on the booked day, the booking amount will be refunded. For stays lasting multiple days, you must notify us upon arrival and make payment for the remaining days to secure the booking.
- It is mandatory to provide a copy of the front page of your passport for foreign travellers, along with a contact phone number, mailing address, and emergency contact information. It is your responsibility to possess a valid visa upon arrival and for the duration of your stay. Failure to possess a valid visa will result in denial of accommodation.
- For bookings made by Indian guests, a valid identification card with a photo must be provided upon arrival for all occupants, along with a valid address and contact phone number. It is essential to provide a contact number and emergency contact person.
- It is a requirement of the booking that you arrange adequate holiday insurance to cover full medical expenses, personal baggage, personal accidents, loss or damage to property, cancellation or curtailment, personal liability, legal expenses, and emergencies.
- The contract, of which these terms and conditions are a part, shall be governed by the laws of India.
It is assumed that you have read the terms and conditions and details of each program and when you book it is agreed that you are aware of everything mentioned in here and you accept these terms and conditions before making your booking.
